Real Legal Advice is a lead generation system connecting qualified legal practitioners with homebuyers or sellers in an arms-length transaction.
Is Real Legal Advice a law firm?
No. Real Legal Advice does not employ or otherwise use the services of licensed real estate attorneys.
What makes Real Legal Advice different from other lead generation systems?
Real Legal Advice is specifically designed to meet the homebuyers’ and sellers’ “need for speed” during the real estate transaction.
What is the relationship between Timely Contract and Real Legal Advice?
Timely Contract.com is client-facing and generates Attorney Call Requests (ACR’s) that are transmitted to RealLegalAdvice.com. RealLegalAdvice.com distributes ACR’s to selected TC Certified attorneys and provides a secure portal to track matters and get paid.
What is a TC Certified® attorney?
Attorneys must be TC Certified in order to be eligible to receive Attorney Call Requests (ACR’s) through the RealLegalAdvice.com platform.
What legal services do TC Certified attorneys provide?
TC Certified attorneys render the legal service most appropriate to the client’s legal need.
How does Real Legal Advice define “arms-length” transaction?
An arms-length transaction exists when a potential client selects legal counsel based on competitive market forces, like price and experience, rather than on referrals based on personal or business relationships.
How large is the legal market for homebuyers and sellers?
Because the residential transactional real estate legal market is new and undeveloped, the size of the market, strictly speaking, is unknown. However, the need for legal counsel is estimated at one in ten transactions. New industry revenue potential assuming a 1% market penetration could easily reach $150,000,000.
Can I opt-out of referrals?
Yes. Take as many, or as few, referrals as your workload allows.
Do you use Artificial Intelligence?
No. As an intermediary between attorneys and homebuyers and sellers, security and privacy concerns prohibit Real Legal Advice from implementing AI solutions at the present time.
How long does it take to fill out the online application?

Can a firm get TC Certified?
No. Certification is based on licensure of individual attorneys.
Cost and Billing
What’s the cost to get TC Certified?
There’s no cost. You pay nothing until you receive your first lead.
What’s the cost to per lead?
The cost per lead is specified in the Conditional Use License Agreement found on the third page of the application to get TC Certified.
What is the Return-on-Investment for Real Legal Advice leads?
A 100% return-on-investment is not guaranteed but is within reach of every attorney with the experience to become TC Certified.
How do I pay?
The Attorney Call Referral (ACR) Fee is charged to your credit or debit card upon receipt of the ACR. Your credit or debit card statement is your record of payments.
What payment processor do you use?
Real Legal Advice is presently uses 8am LawPay but reserves the right to change payment processors at any time.
Can my Firm pay for leads?
Yes. Provide your Firm’s payment information when signing up to become TC Certified.

What if I haven’t heard back from a potential client?
Attorneys compete for clients through Real Legal Advice as they do in the legal marketplace. If you’re experiencing less than a 20% close rate or not achieving 100% ROI, take a close look at your client interview and intake process for improvement.
